We love getting to know people in our own community, as well as the small towns and counties around us. A lot of our clientele comes from Lincoln, and even Omaha, as we are an elegant and high-end event space nestled in historic Downtown Crete! Our goal is to provide unparalleled service to our wedding and private event clients. We create a beautiful vibe for you as we focus on the details, and keep everything simple so that you can just walk in and make your memories.
We do all of the heavy lifting prior to your event, including the room setup of tables and gold Chiavari chairs with ivory cushions. Black linens are included in your rental, or we can help facilitate rental of the color of your choice. We include bar staff in your rental price and we do not have bar minimums. We also love serving all of our non-alcoholic clients Lattes and Mocktails.
Finally and most importantly. . .
LGBTQ+ and friends. . . we want to provide a safe space for every kind of love, so please come celebrate with us! We will help you feel loved and seen on one of the most important days of your life!

I am so happy that I randomly met Elayne and her family at a bridal expo, the 1206 was exactly what we were searching for in a wedding venue space and we hadn't been able to find it in Lincoln!
Our wedding theme was very Victorian gothic/medieval vibes so we really didn't want a rustic/barn style venue, and everywhere else we looked at felt very corporate and depressing and devoid of any character or charm.
The 1206 is decorated beautifully in a way that it has it's own character and life, but you can still add your own style for whatever type of event you are wanting to host there. Also Elayne is a professional photographer so she very meticulously chose the lighting to make for beautiful photos! (I don't have all my wedding photos back yet but can add more later - but even the photos of people dancing in very dim lighting turned out amazing in my opinion!!)
Elayne and Justin were also so helpful and accommodating, they worked with our wedding planners and other vendors to make our day as stress-free as possible, and even made a few last minute requests happen for me that I was not expecting.
